WEPUSHTHEGLOBE is a project by FUPART in an attempt to give back to society it’s worth.
We recognise that while charitable organisations exists for a good reason, their advertising gimmicks can be overwhelming.
Therefore, we hope to delve much deeper into organisations that will be our beneficiaries and make sure that they are worth our effort, and your support.
Our Guiding Principle
The driving philosophy behind this project seeks to uncover humanity and nature, with every individual design that sought to tell a story, explore it’s own meaning and introduce new perspectives. We strive to create the perfect amalgam between the arts, humanity, nature and of course, you.

WEPUSHTHEGLOBE will consist of a series of designs on apparels, and 50% of all profits(including any sales from now on) will be collated and sent to the intended organisations on a quarterly basis.

Yep, as of the above topic, FREEZE T-Shirt will have a better print with good contrast and is very close to the artwork after halftoning it to print format, kudos to the workshop! We are using silkscreening methods with plastisol inks for the most lasting prints, therefore it’s really difficult getting it into a good visual print. BUT WE STILL DID IT!
After looking at the print today, i’ll say it will be really fabulous. This T-Shirt will be printed and ready by 30/8/09.

FREEZE T-Shirt Description:FREEZE recreates the moments in human’s history when decisions were being made and regretted thereafter. It’s just like a bomb that’s being activated and unleashed into the air. Time never goes backwards, only forward, even if you manage to freeze time in it’s own motion. Therefore, a bomb can never be recovered after release. Ultimately, it will produce the intended effect. Devastating or not.
FREEZE is the 2nd FUPART’s collaboration with a photographer. The breathtaking main satellite view of the landscape belongs to this very talented photographer. The “bomb” in the artwork is the atomic bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 by the B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay. The bomb is named Little Boy.
The white tiger as a “nose art” is a tribute to probably the only “nose art” drawn on a bomb, rather than planes, during the WWII era. It was painted on a 4000 pound “cookie” bomb to celebrate the 2000th operation by No. 424 “Tiger” Squadron. The bomb was loaded into Lancaster RF-128 (QB-V) and delivered on 21 March 1945.

This new collection will consist of 2 T-shirts. First will be the above, the other one will be showcased, very soon.
This new collection will also mark the change in goals for FUPART as we are trying very hard to establish this very brand in Singapore. Many details are still getting sorted out, but for those who have been supporting us, keep a lookout for news coming your way soon.
Good news for future collections is that, we will bump up our quantity designs and of course, quality will be preserved and improved upon. This will depends very much on the plans that we have on hand now. We really hope the plans can kickstart soon, which i believe will propel FUPART to a greater stage.
Meanwhile, keep supporting us. I promise not to disappoint with the quality of FUPART design. Of course, quality of product will always be maintained at a high standard.

Hey!, how’s everyone doing? We just returned from Fx4 May Session and well the response was rather.. lukewarm but it’s still encouraging!
But, we still need more exposures!
We have really interesting stuffs in the pipeline and we really hope to propel FUPART into a greater future. We didn’t start out with a bang with this small indie brand because we don’t really have the financial capability(therefore the limited exposure). This month’s looking bleak, and i hope next month will be better!
We are still greatly appreciative of those who’ve been supporting us along the way!
The long awaited UPDATES:
- New designs are in the pipeline, there are currently only 2 designs being conceptualized in the next release, so.. stay tuned!
- We are actually going towards a more premium outlook using higher grade materials in our products. And, we are NOT just a blogshop(although we are currently operating through a blog). We are a brand, and we take serious pride in that!
- NEXT EVENT IS @ 8Q(Next to Singapore Art Museum) on 31st MAY! Details will be released soon.
- Blog needs a revamp and main site needs to be launched! (it’s a one man job now though, so it will take awhile but hopefully a full re-launch by JUNE!)

Above: Quite a big crowd.. but not much male audience in the midst. But there are a no. of females that came up to give us a look. P.S. Our T-shirts are actually unisex, and i’ve had a number of female customers.
And.. our humble booth again, with no-frills setup. A local indie brand in the midst of all the 2nd hands grabs and female blogshops touting their wares. Lotsa cheap stuffs, but definitely not from us. I do believe that, you pay for what you get!
No, we didn’t break even, but it’s still encouraging, that people are coming up to us and commenting that we are doing great designs and coming up to join our mailing list for future updates!
Firstly i would like to say thanks to those who have supported us for these 4 months since the start of FUPART.
It’s also time we take a break, not much of a break actually, because it’s actually a journey to immerse in another environment which will ideally give us different ideas and concepts for future designs!
So we will be back on 12th May.
Before you get thinking that May will be a relaxing month for us, well, NO!
We are coming back with a bang after 12th May with more flea market events and we will update this blog on the events accordingly! So keep watching us!
The tagboard will be back after 12th May too, so as to reduce unsightly tagboard spams.
