Things are going a little slow, sales, updates and new t-shirts. But while things are creeping slow, there’s still little stuffs getting done on the way.
Looking on the bright side, the theme, designs and stuffs are all more or less settled for the next batch. It’s a very exciting package and we already have a release date in mind, however we need some confirmation from suppliers to kickstart everything.
Other than that, everything is moving slowly, but surely, we are coming up with more rocking stuffs up our sleeves. So keep supporting us and keep the orders coming!

Rest assure though, by customers feedbacks, it takes only 1 to 2 days to receive your stuffs by post!! So even on the last day of promotion, you will get it in time for Vday, if you need it for Vday!

Okay, back to the “construction and maintainence” part.. Here’s what i gonna and have to do..
1) Conceptualise and finalise designs for our next collection.
2) blog UPDATEs on our FLEA.FLY.FLO.FUNxI.AM.DAVID.SPARKLE flea market and MAAD experience! Tons of nice stuffs assured!
3) Construction of a new site which will come online together with the next collection.
Yes, it’s been a while since i update this blog. Been preparing for the above flea! Our first ever and we hope to get a good response from the public! If you are dropping by tomorrow, remember to drop by our booth, give us a look and say hi!
Here’s what i’ve been up to recently..
1) Getting to some more fleas, hopefully i will get a space at MAAD next weekend!
2) Linking up with other suppliers to try to look at a wider variety of T-shirts for the next batch of designs!
3) Starting to conceptualize the next series of designs. I am thinking that it should be out by late May.
Other than that, i am quite excited about tomorrow’s flea and hope you guys(those who are seeing this) will drop by and say hi!

The other piece of news is that, we will be at Home Club on 31st JAN!

Flea.Fly.Flo.Fun will be supporting Singapore’s band – I Am David Sparkle,
in their benefit show to raise funds as they’ve been invited to play in USA!
Along side the flea market, there will be bands jamming all day long!
There will be DJ sets running through till 3am as well.
Let’s show some love to our local heroes!

The last piece of news will be that, WWW.FUP.SG is going for an overhaul. There are too many problems associated with the site and yeah, it’s slated for an overhaul soon and you will soon see it being brought down.

Yes we are having at least a week of delay of launch. Which means we will be extending the launch by a week more from 5/01/2009.
The good thing is, the 20% offer for the first T-Shirt design still stands will be extended by one week since it’s still in PRE-LAUNCH period. So if ya shopping for CNY clothings do give us a look
The bad thing is, we can’t wait to release the 3 other designs! And we need to wait for a week more as there’s problem with the printer. Due to the policy of getting involved in the process, our printer foresee that thee may be some problems with the printings, so they are asking us to go down next week to check out the samples when they do a test print on some blank T-Shirts. This is fine, as we also require the best in quality of the prints and keep the similarity alike to the design and our intended design.
Well so, because of this process, they are still in the midst of preparing the artworks for printing(a pain-in-the-ass process) and will get back to me by early next week. I told them to give me some piority too.
CURRENT STATUS: PRE-LAUNCH ESTIMATED WEEKS TO FULL LAUNCH: 1 WEEK
Well, we are still waiting for our 3 printing works which we outsourced to a trustable local printer. Have been communicating with them throughout the process such that to correct whatever that is required and bring the best print to buyers. While the printing is outsourced, we involve ourselves very much into the process, from working with the printers in editing the designs to make it suitable for prints. It’s not an easy process as printing T-Shirts is not as easy as it seems. sometimes, printers only have a range of PANTONE colours and there’s also the finest of the design in printing. Halftoning it and stuffs .. blah blah.. i shan’t bother you with the technical aspects.
But we believe in involving ourselves in the process as much as possible with our printer.
We couldn’t really print by ourselves YET, because we are still a small startup and we are still learning in the process. But the main reason is that, we are actually very much constrained by the pigeon holes of Singapore estates and thus does not have the required space to explore printing ourselves. But when we do get better and hopefully our business is able to sustain in the longer run, we will definitely explore the possibility of setting up our own printing by leasing out spaces.

After at least half a year of planning, few months of procrastinations and finally when i got enough time on my hand, i sat down and started engineering FUP.
From getting the domain, setting up this blog(fairly easy), to setting up the store at FUP.sg(freaking lots of problem) and looking for good quality printing shops in Singapore and ordering bulks of t-shirts.
And it’s finally going to materialise. We design our own clothes and collaborates with others.
There are 2 parts to FUP.
First, there’s the PHOTEES, where we print photographs(not just any photos) but those that will make you look freaking cool. To expand our horizon, we try to look and reach out to global photographers who will be interested to be part of FUP.
Secondly, there’s the FUPTEES. For now, it’s mostly in-house designing. Our aim was always to seek to create the most unique illustrations and concepts on your shirts. And we will only improve from where we started. However, nothing is more valuable than your feedback, so if you have any, do remember to drop us a note at hi AT fup DOT sg!
