Yeah, we are back from our crazy sales over at both flea market with Singapore Art Museum’s Fleatique as the highlight of both days!
It was a blast at SAM and is the best flea market to date for FUPART!
Nothing speaks louder than pictures
Even before the night falls, the crowd was already gaining in strength. I was rather appalled by the number of people who came forward and ask about us and our designs!
When it got dark, the crowd was better with people streaming in. The temperature was terribly high though.
Here’s our humble booth selling our first ever designs and showcasing our new designs with a actual printout of one of the design! From 7pm to 2am(but we left at 1am as we were too tired)
We had a great day over there and i am really looking forward to the next flea-ti-que night edition!

On the previous day, we had flea market at NUS organised by OMS, a club in NUS.
It was a great event, but the crowd was rather small. Most people were just rushing for classes and by passing the area. And yes, NUS students doesn’t seems to dig flea markets on their home ground. But that said, we had a few inquiries into our designs and yes, we have people coming up and expressing their interest in our new designs.
So it wasn’t that bad after all. Although i sat there stoning most of the time.
At the very least i received a bundle of botak jones $5 voucher which we didn’t manage to give out. Drank a few cups of milo and saw the red bull team giving out free red bulls from their mini convertible. Cool.
You can really see the effort put in by the organiser to get so much stuffs going at the event. But the crowd doesn’t respond to most of it(except the free milos and red bulls) So, kudos to the organisers for the great event over at NUS.
Didn’t manage to take any photos for the event though.
These are the confirmed upcoming events for MARCH where we’ll be having a booth. We will be showcasing our 2 new designs at these booths, so hop by to give us a look!
For 26th March 2009…
(we will be here for just one day..)
First up, it’s the one at NUS, featuring Indie vendors(like yours truly). If you are in NUS, come down and give us a look Original Music Society (OMS) proudly presents Lunchtime Invasions 2009 – 2 fun-filled days of great music by local independent musicians, all happening amidst flea market shopping, food & drinks. This OMS-organized event will be held on the 26 and 27 March, and its one event that is definitely not to be missed.
Lunchtime Invasions is a unique concept that blends the NUS culture of bazaars with OMS’s own influence – Great independent music by everyday Singaporeans like you & me. Hence, there will be original music, along with the usual bazaar elements of flea market and food… with a slight twist!
The bands that are all set to rock out on stage are a dynamic bunch of musicians with different styles, ranging from acoustic to electro, powerpop, and progressive post-rock. Be prepared to be entertained by their original music and take that first step into our ever growing local music scene..
